Company history

Podgorje was founded in 1955. Initially, the company manufactured and marketed wood products for coopers and wheelwrights, later it switched to making bedroom and living room furniture.

In 1972 Podgorje teamed up with IMV of Novo mesto and switched its focus to manufacturing and sales of fitted caravan and motorhome furniture.

It has remained in the present location in Šentjernej since 1973. With ongoing investments into production capacities and facilities, Podgorje is today an advanced high-tech company.

A 98.3% stake in Podgorje is held by Adria Caravan d.o.o. of Novo mesto. Minority stakes are held by the employees of the company.
